Meet the owner
Deniece Jordan , is the founder and lead stylist of Be. Hair + Beauty Lounge.
She opened the salon in September 2020 with the intention of creating a space rooted in healthy hair practices, thoughtful service, and client confidence.
Specializing in textured hair, colour transformations, smoothing systems, and long-term hair health, Deniece is known for her calm, intentional approach and personalized care. Her work is guided by education, consistency, and an understanding that every client’s hair journey — and lifestyle — is different.
Beyond the salon, Deniece is an active voice within the professional beauty community. In 2023, she was named one of the Faces of Sola and served as a VIP panelist at Sola Sessions in Austin, Texas, contributing to conversations on building systems, breaking unproductive habits, and creating added value through the client experience. In 2024, she was also a panelist at The Beauty X Show, participating in discussions focused on understanding the state of your business and maximizing profitability.
Whether behind the chair or on the stage, Deniece brings intention, structure, and authenticity to everything she does. Her philosophy is simple: your hair, your way — and creating a space where clients feel confident, supported, and free to be.
Meet Nymma
Nymma Sanneh, a recent graduate from Marca College, brings over 10 years of experience in hair braiding to the Be. Hair + Beauty Lounge team. Her passion for all things hair drives her to continuously expand her skills and knowledge, particularly in the realm of natural hair. She is eager to learn from her mentor, Deniece, and contribute to the salon's vibrant community. With a commitment to excellence, she looks forward to making a positive impact on our clients' experiences.
